Hi,
Does anyone know what the best way to seal a bitumen floor is? I was hoping that I could do this with a paint/roll on sealer (something like brick sealer, etc..)?
I need to lay carpet and I was concerned that there may be a smell or stickiness when the room warms up. The bitumen is very thin, like it's been painted on the floor rather than poured and parquet stuck down.
I would leave the parquet down but the level are poor and by the front door the previous owner had cut a square out of the carpet to allow the door to swing open - not very nice.
Appreciate any help,
Thanks
