Hello, I hope someone can help me with a problem.
I have just bought a replacement kitchen pull-out mixer tap. Everything went well till I discovered that the hot and cold water connections which should attach to the copper hot and cold connections are the wrong size. The instructions that came with the new tap says EU: M10 X 1 / 3/8" L440. The old tap says G1/2.
Measuring the width of the nut on the end of the connectors the new one is 20mm approx and the old is 22mm. Is there an adaptor of some kind that I can buy to reduce the size of the water connections from 22mm to 20mm?
I went to Focus last night but there was no-one with any plumbing knowledge there and I couldn't figure out what to buy.
Thank you for your help.
