Hi all

I have a leaking tap on my kitchen sink I was hoping to get some advice before I start messing about with it and potentially making it worse I have shown a picture below basically the water seems to be leaking outward from the base of the tap as it joins to the sink What I find strange is that there is no water leaking through to the underside of the sink so I'm not sure exactly what is causing the leak.
I'm hoping this is just a washer change or something but I'd like to do it soon in case the leak gets worse (apparently it's already been doing it for months but my wife never told me )

Thanks in advance

Most likely leaking from the point where the spout joins the body ('O' rings may need replacing) or possibly from the cartridge.
