Hi,

My downstairs toilet hot water tap, supplied by my combi boiler, isnt wokign right.

When i turn it half on, it works fine, but the water flow gradually reduces to a trikle and eventually stops.

If at any point i turn the tap on full it stops. The cold works fine and all the other hot taps in the house work fine.

Any idea what is causing this.

Please say it is something as simple as a problem with the tap!!

cheers for your help

Turn off supply and take it to bits. They often slow down because the washer expands as it warms up, blocking an ole, or the jumper ( the bit with the washer on) comes out of its seating. Yours sounds like the latter.
