Tap spout hard to push from side to side.

On my Kitchen taps, The Long part where the water comes out "not sure what the technical name is". It is very hard to push from side to side when you need to move it out of the way. Other than that the taps are fine and not leaking. What does it need water proof grease? Or is somthing in need of replace or repair? It is the kind with one single lever that lifts up and turns side to side for hot and cold. But that lever is fine. It is the one where the water comes out that is hard to move side to side.
