Tap spraying in bathroom

Hi there
Recently had new combi boiler fitted and since then the pressure in bathroom has been much better, but my sink tap is just spraying the water out rather than a nice flow!
Have taken head off and cleaned it (there was a lot of grit and gunk in it) put it back on and water is still coming out strangely! Is there anything else I can do, or do I need to get a new tap fitted?! maybe its supposed to be like that!
