Tape for extractor fan ducting

Hi, can anyone recommend a reasonable tape for the above - it's a mix of 125mm aluminium and 100mm plastic/flexi. It will be in the loft.

I do have a couple of rolls of the foil tape which seems pretty good - it's been holding my cracked bathroom tiles together for the past year!

Aluminium foil tape, as used for sealing duct joints is great for producing a seal as it can be press moulded into the joint crevices - and it sticks like the proverbial to a blanket. I find duct tape (it's anything but) tends to release its seal after a while unless the surface it's stuck to is perfectly flat.
