Tapered Verge and Double Romans

We have a single storey extension that is 2 metres wide at the front and 6 metres wide at the back.

The gable has a pike and the tiles to be used are Marley Double Roman.

There is no problem on the back half of the roof because it widens as you go down from the ridge so all the rainwater will flow into the gutter. However the front narrows from 4m at the ridge to 2m at the gutter meaning that the water will flow over the verge (other than the 2m strip directly above the gutter).

Is there a proprietory solution for this.

Hard to explain in words, but I'm hoping someone has come across this before and knows what I am talking about

We have come across this a few times.

Flat roofers use an angled edge trim, that can be used in this scenario, in place of the under-cloak.

You fix it so that rather than just an under-cloak you have an up-stand. You then fit the verge tiles slightly short of the up-stand (25mm) thus forming a narrow gutter.

The water runs down this gutter and into the fascia guttering.

Have seen gutters being installed in scenarios such as this.

You could knock something up in lead or possibly even use a grp secret gutter system in reverse trimmed neatly . Or a gutter down the rake.. the choice us yours
