Hello,
We've just had some new bathroom furniture installed including a new toilet with concealled cistern.
When you fulsh the toilet you can hear the water rushing back into the cistern, and a lot of the time this as accompanied by a banging/tapping noise (I would say it gets louder the closer the toilet gets to full). As soon as you hear the swoosh and clunk of the filling stopping the tapping also stops.
I thought it might be something to do with the filling pipe banging against a wall due to pressure, but the installer assured me this wasn't the case. He said he had never fitted that make before (Utopia bathroom furniture) and next time he did he would listen out and see if there was the same noise.
Any idea what this could be?
