Taps: Are Nabis and Alexa good brands?

We are looking for new bathroom taps after a disaster with B+Q Plumbsure mixers (worn inside, no hot water). We don't want to spend several hundred pounds but also want to avoid something equally unreliable, so happy to spend a little more.

Are Nabis and Alexa good brands? They have taps that suit the space and style of our bathroom.

Never heard of either brand, but Alexa is sold by Victoria plumb and must be from some Far-Eastern back-street sweatshop.
Nabis in Google brings up quite a few references to Dum err Plumb Centre and Wolsey.

Stick with reputable brands; Bristan, Deva, or for a few bob more, Pegler. Speak with a reputable independant merchant, show him what you want and tell him what you'd like to pay - be reasonable.
