Hello All.

I recently changed the rubber washer on both bathroom taps as they were 'screaming' with decent Holdtite washers.

But over recent weeks the hot tap has to be turned fully open for it to flow properly, then it goes full on and have to be turned back to get the correct flow control.

The cold tap has also got to be fully open for anything to come out, then that has to be regulated.

What is the solution to making both taps flow like they should please?

1. Sounds as if the washers aren't properly secured to the jumpers. Normally held in place by a small brass nut or by a bulge on the end of the jumper.
2. Photograph(s) of washers in place in tap works would be useful.

Thanks Oldbuffer.

The washers are both screwed into the jumper.

I will attempt to get some images for you.
