House renovated a few months ago, we have 2 sinks in our kitchen with identical tap and pipework underneath (see pics).

To get hot water, we need to turn right sink's tap away from us (right pipe below gets hot), but left sink's tap towards us (and left pipe below gets hot).

Is there an easy, cheap solution? How much would a competent plumber charge? Thanks

You only seem to have posted pics of one of the two sinks you mention, this one looks to be piped correctly... if you post the same set of pics for the other one it will be easier to see what's wrong.

As for how much it will cost to make alterations, this isn't comparethemarket.com and hourly rates in London vary wildly in any case

Both sinks have identical pipework/ arrangements underneath - that's why I only posted one pic

Are the handles of the taps on the same side of each tap or are they in mirror image?

Sounds a simple issue, hot and cold feeds are reversed on one set of taps. Swap the feeds round on one set of taps and they'll both be the same way round to operate. (Should be hot on the left.)

I can probably do it for £ 60 plus £ 5 parts if you're on the NW side of London....
