Having new suit fitted by a professional plumber. We have a mono tap, hot on the left cold on right. The basin taps are hot on right cold on left. Which way should they be..bit concerned..Paul

I would worry more about what them being different says about your plumber than about which configuration is correct.

It is only convention which says what is "right" and 1 in 7 of us are lefthanded anyway.

I'm left handed but I still put cold on the right.
