Tavistock showers

I wondered if anybody could tell me how good Tavistock showers are? We want to install a concealed shower and valve and keep being told by friends to only install German made showers. Problem is, German showers are three times the price. Where are Tavistock showers made and are they reliable?

Don't want to make a big mistake and have to take down all the tiles in two years or something and everybody say "I told you so"......!

They can't be that bad; WRAS approved, TMV2 approved and with a 10 year guarantee.

Their catalogue states "..leading supplier.." so they're bought in.
China, everything else is made there nowadays. Even Pegler, once a leading manufacturer in the UK, now have a factory in China.

If you want to get parts for your shower in the future, its got to be Grohe for me......some firms do good offers on them so its worth looking around.
