Evening all

As title.

Error code 1 showing.

Unplugged it for a few minutes, but still shows error within seconds of trying again.

Took the basket out, grid, and lid. All appear clean (I cleaned everything a few days ago, and have used it since then without issues).

According to the book, the fan is not working.

Any other ideas on what and how to check, how to dismantle, etc?

According to Mr G error 1 is lack of ventilation or the fan is not running. Are the bits you took out interlocked. Is it under warranty. Not sure if this will help or is a differnt model https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Tefal+Actifry+Disassembly/24863

The bits are all meant to be taken out for cleaning, and they were all put back properly.
I had just cooked youngest's tea, and the error only appeared when I went to cook something for myself.


The repair that you linked to is to move the paddle around :that is rotating fine.
