Teledyne Laars Mini-Therm II problem

I have a Teledyne Laars Mini-Therm II, it's a hot water bioler for a house in Canada. The temperature sensor is continously tripping, I can't run my system for more that 5 minutes. I've had 3 "pros" ahem, come out and they just clean the thing, two have said they don't like this system. Is it possible to replace just the temperature sensor? Has anyone else had problems with this furnace unit? I've checked for back draft, the furnace has a build in flue damper, once the furnace turns on and the flame starts, there is defenitely air intake where the air intake and heat sensor are located, but right at the upper most part of the openning there does appear to be some very minor backdraft. This confuses me. Smoke from a burning piece of paper is clearly drawn in, but right at the very top, like only 1mm gap of air is where the smoke blows forward ever so slightly. I don't know if this represents a problem or not.

Any suggestions?

I have the Same Problem. Just bought a house in Oct with this boiler, the roll out switch trips due to overheating--at first just once a week, now many times a day, have had three different people look at it, it is drawing and venting well, one removed the damper saying it was causing a backdraft over the pilot, but without the damper, the pilot was blowing out several times a day. SO, they put the damper back, and now we are back to babysitting the rollout switch, and yeah, cold if you are gone for any length of time!!

The only Laars boilers we have here are used for pool heating or laundramats! We British even call those "swimming pools" and "launderettes".

Few engineers here ever encounter them during their working life!
