Bias? Reporters unable to read? Or fake news from the Torygraph?

Meanwhile, our multimillionaire chancellor refuses to publish his.

Surely that is filed under pensions and retirement annuities and other state benefits received? Not exactly a salary then?? If I get the band 6 job I have applied for, then I will be on roughly that salary in 2 yrs time..

I understand it is a state payment made for his public office position as party leader in Parliament.

Have a look at Theresa's tax return and you will see what I mean. Or Hammonds.

looking at the Torygraph headline I see they used the word "income" not "salary" so I have corrected my original wording.

As I understand it, this is on top of his salary/ income as an MP? No wonder there are so many "career politicians these days. What with the gold plated pensions they receive when they're not elected after serving a few years. I'm surprised a political career isn't encouraged at school.

Surely if he took payment for "leadership" there is a criminal case for taking money under false pretences?

That's why he left it off. Smart man
