Tempramental Vokera

Hi All
My parents Vokera Linea 24 sometimes wont give them hot water, I think it when CH is on. Now to me as a trainee plumber its prob the diverter valve. A gas fitter friend of thiers says it it the mode select switch. (HW/OFF/HWCH ) is he right?

Isn't this the one where the knobs break? (I hardly ever see a Vokera!)
You can diagnose diverter by checking pipe temps.

Hi Chris
Have no idea if the knob breaks but it seems to work fine.
It goes from HW to OFF/RESET and to HW/CH all seems fine.
unfortuneately I have not been there when it has failed. they call me and when i get there its fine.
I dont see how the mode switch is at fault.
