Hi,
I have a string of 240V LED garden hanging bulbs which I need to shorten and seek advice on how to safely terminate the end please.
The cable is 2 core "flat" cable and quite small. The only thing I can think of is an outdoor junction box, making a small nick in one of the bottom seals and putting Wago connectors on the ends.
As for it being pulled out by accident, I cannot see any glands which go that small or have that profile.
Any and all assistance greatly appreciated.

Adhesive lined heat shrink can be used

Cut the two conductors. One about 30 milli metre longer.
Do not strip the insulation

Slide heat shrink over the individual conductors and heat

Slide heat shrink over the whole joint and heat.

While the sleeve is still hot sqeeze the open end closed

Thanks for the prompt reply, do you have any idea what to use to house the ends in please? I have previously used a WISKA box but the gland nut doesn't go small enough. All the other things I have seen on Amazon are for connecting one to one or more cables.
