Just fixed 23 metres Terrazzo tiles into an already fitted kitchen (with island!) on a very badly screeded floor. Fixed each tile with a level, looks lovely although used a mountain of sticky to level up the floor. Now, im not a Terrazzo fixer by trade and polishing the tiles afterwards was not an option due to kitchen already being fitted ( and the customers budget) Customer did get quotes from Terrazzo specialists but they told him the kitchen would have to come out and cost £6000 to fix and polish 23 metres!. I noticed that these tiles seem to hold water and darken when wet. The kitchen had no heating, and the tiles were freezing cold as they were stored outside. My question, do these tiles need sealing or any other treatment once fixed. Tiles are Pilkington Slimline Terrazzo range.
