Over several years, I've refurbished my house & replaced the radiators and their TRV's. Half of the rads have the Terrier II valves and the other half the earlier vesrion.

The head of one of the earlier valves has broken off, and the spare Terrier II head I have doesn't fit on the thread.

Does anyone know if replacement heads for the older version can be obtained? it's much easier to replace a screw on head than drain a radiator and re-fit a complete new valve.

BTW, I actually prefer the older units, they are much smoother to use, feel more substantial and work just as well as the MK II. anyone know what the "improvement" in the MK II is?
