They were, in the practical sense, the only EV car company in the world : like Ford and the model T, Tesla brought EV into the mainstream.
 
A lot of Tesla owners and would be customers are waiting for indicator signals to be refitted. It was a deal breaker for me when I test drove the new Model 3 Performance. I noticed the new model Y has them, so it wont be long.

The 2 poor souls I know who got conned into leasing teslas can't wait to give it back.
Not only so they can save £1000+/month, but because the glorified milk float is simply that: a shytty glorified milk float that can't compete with real cars of same price range.
For the same money you can lease an Audi A8; say no more.
 
Tesla is/was the only profit making EV maker. Chinese maybe too, - we can't tell, it's heavily subsidised. Chinese need to use less oil so promote EVs. They can use thier coal to produce leccy. for charging cars.
According to the head of Renault who has factories worldwide, Chinese are the best makers.
Tesla needs new models.
BYD make a sensible car for cheap now. Tesla's next will be something small which may be a popular commuter in the US but Trump has squashed the charging network growth.

Cars are 60% of his income, but he's probably bored with it. Neuralink and Space are sexier. He also owns "The boring company", and X.

Sensible countries will be using cars' batteries to store electricity. IE you'll be paid if you let your car battery be discharged early in the morning when peak demand comes. Elon was all over that. Stock market speculators are itching for a reason to buy more Tesla shares. CHina are/will be hammering him.

If when self driving cars really get going, it'll probably be Tesla. Quite a thought that, do some work while your car takes you to work.
Depends on regulations - unfortunately there are fatalities .
 
Queer Smarmer seems to be at odds with Dread Rubberband, Smarmer has been warning against buying Chinese EV's , as they have spy softwere installed. Meanwhile Rubberband has just ordered Mercades EV's for the millitary, guess where they are made... You couldnt make it up !

You get used to it pretty quick to be honest, but you can buy aftermarket stalks if you want it.

I didn’t find the performance of the performance model enough of a step up from the long range model to warrant the extra cost/loss of range.
