If I (or my child etc) were to accidentally come into contact with the 1000v test output of my megger, would I (or my child etc) suffer any serious injury?

I am well aware that people must keep clear of the test circuits when meggering - but am just curious.

Try it and see. (On yourself, not your child). Will yours do any lower voltages that you could work up to?
