Texecom Alarm connect app issues (help!)

I have recently aqquired a Texecom Premier Elite alarm system for my house and I have installed it myself and so far its been ok as someone who has done lots of research, carefully read manuals and has an interest in alarms (please note this is a self install/DIY system) I also have a Texecom Smartcom to allow app control and have set it up correctly and managed to generate an app code from the panel, I sign into my Texe account (no issues there) and when it asks me for my panel user code I get the error shown in the screenshot, any ideas? I have tried both the panel user and engineer code.

I'm like you and did a self install of a Texecom alarm and Smartcom a number of years ago and am pleased with it. Unfortunately I can't help on your specific problem but Texecom do have an installer forum (they welcome self installers too) which is a good source of info which might be useful. https://texecom.websitetoolbox.com/

If you set this up yourself you needed engineers code???

You can go into engineering and setup users, user 1. Change the user code.

Then try again.

A few days ago I changed both the master (user 1) and engineer code for security reasons and so I can more easily remember them and both do not work, its worth noting these were changed before Smartcom was setup.

I was told I needed the eng code but tried both anyway, I have just changed the master code again as you said and still gives same error.
 
Okay if you know the codes then we need to look at something else.

Which app version are you using?

I have a cloud account and I don't know how to check the app version, I have downloaded it literally a few days ago and reinstalled today so I assume its the most recent??

When I signed up for the Texe cloud I just put zeros in the company vat number, etc (I saw on another thread people saying this is allowed but I might be very wrong if so oops, sorry Texe.)

so you haven't been able to gain access to the app as yet?

No sadly, sorry for the late reply.

Everything else works until you get to where it asks for the panel code.
 
Can you pm screen shots of your Texecom cloud setup?

Also when Scotland game finishes if you send me a fresh app code and udl passcode and a mobile number I’ll take a look for you.
 
if you go to the cloud you will need to add you panel i believe, ive just installed a second one and contacted texecom for help they advised me to add the panel to my cloud account then it will work.

I was having literally same error as you.

Ah I see, thanks for the reply.

The issue has since however been resolved :)
 
Indeed the system hadn't been added to the cloud, however there was an issue with the attempted set up in the cloud which has been resolved
