Texecom Alarm System

Hi

I’m looking to upgrade my existing texecom alarm system and would ideally like to be able to control it via my phone if this is possible?

If so, what would be the best way to do this?

I’ve added a pic of one of the keypads and the panel. Everything is hard wired.

No it’s too old ….replace control panel with elite 24 and fit a smartcom all other parts should be ok

The GSM module would allow you to control it from your phone via text message (if the option is available comport setup com2).

However GSM module is expensive CEG-0001 at £206 on Alert Electrical versus smart com CEL-0001 £76 and a Elite 24 CCA-0026 £75

The panels do work slightly different wrt to programming.

other cheaper alternatives may exist and not recommending the supplier as dont use them just they have pricing available online
