Hi,
I've a self-installed Texecom Premier Elite 64W, installed just under 1 year ago, working perfectly. I've recieve email notice that my subscription plan will renew imminently.

My current plan is "Standard - Texecom Cloud Standard", but also available is "Basic - Texecom Cloud Basic - Single Site User".

I cannot find any information about the differences between these two plans. They both appear to be no cost.

Is there a reason I might want to downgrade from Standard to Basic? Can anyone explain the difference to me please? Thanks in advance

as an installer I have no idea what end users are offered.

As for what you need that depends on what you have and what you want to do.

The options are on the subscription page of the installer portal, although I expect pro installers will scroll straight past the single site option without a second thought.

I should say a Gold options is also offered for £500, which isn't for me.

What I want do is use the phone app for monitoring/arming/disarming, and possible use of Wintex over Smartcom (not something I do often but want to keep the facility).

I think I sucessfully installed and programmed the system, but now I bamboozled over the Basic/Standard/Gold subscription levels, and choice of Connect/Cloud services. The installation manual was very clear, but can't find a clear description of the different subscriptions. I read somewhere about a £7 charge which is very reasonable, but the subscriptions prices are £0/£0/£500.

So choose no cost options.

Gold isn’t for you, it’s useless to me at £600 inc vat and very limited function and still have to pay the annual fees of we want cloud programming.

As you using wintex for the smart com, you don’t need anything else other than the free option unless you have a 4g smart com
