Hi all,

I've wired up this up at our office/warehouse. It's the first time I've installed an alarm system. The door sensors are all working well but I am having trouble with the PIR's. I'm using Wintex to set it up. Could somebody check for me:
My wiring of the PIR's and the jumper settings for the resistors
Also the settings I have used in Wintex
As you can see the resistance on all the PIR's is showing as 6.85 ish. Should they be?

Thanks in advance

They are at the moment yes, but possibly that is where I have gone wrong? I assumed for this control panel it took power from the zone connection. Wiring diagram below:

So where do the power wires connect to on the control panel?
thanks for your help

You need to wire the power to the PIR's from the 12v aux connection in the panel.

No disrespect but as your fitting it to a commercial premises would you not be better getting the professionals in? I'd also check your insurance would cover in the event of a break in with a self fitted alarm.

ok thanks Paul, I think I originally thought that was the case, just seemed strange that all of the PIR's had to share one power out.

Yep, you are probably right. Not about the insurance as no alarm is reqd. But it would have been a lot easier to get the pro's in. Just fancied having a go myself.

yep, bit daft with hindsight. Anyway, just re-wired the PIR's and all working perfectly. Thanks for your help
