Hello again
Thank you for your suggestions regarding the UDL lockout. Now, the main issues:
Recently we have been awoken multiple times at night. Two zones seem to be faulting:
Firstly, a micro shock on an upstairs window faulted several times - testing today makes it appear the battery has failed. I didn't get a low battery warning on the keypad.
1. Can I do anything in the meantime, other than mark the zone as "not used" and re-learn it once the new battery is in?
Secondly, the main exit door (micro-contact W sensor) keeps faulting. Richochet monitor says the battery is green. I tried everything I could think of at 3am to stop the internal sounder going off - but I couldn't omit the zone, and I couldn't leave the panel in engineer mode - it timed out after 1 hour and then the internal sounder started again.
2. Any ideas what this could be, and what can I do in the meantime - if I mark the exit zone as "not used" for now will that screw things up e.g. when coming back into the house with the alarm set? I could back up the config, and then restore it once the new batteries are in.
3. While I'm fixing this, can I stop the system alarming for tamper and panel warning / send me an app warning only?
4. Some of the options disagree between Wintex and the manual e.g. Wintex global option 00 is "Bell on alarm fail" whereas in the manual it says option 00 is "no bell on alarm fail" - what am I supposed to believe? Same for 26, 27.
The system is only just over 1 year old, so the batteries shouldn't be failing and the sensors should be in good condition. Unfortunately the installer is not contactable.
5. Final question, do you recommend anywhere in particular for batteries? Normally I would get them on Ebay.
Sorry for so many questions!
