I'm trying to configure a Texecom Shock Sensor, but I'm having a bit of a nightmare.

In the guide, it says a firm tap, so it hit the window with my fist to simulate something like a football hitting it.

If I am on low range but high sensitivity, I get a green light which indicates its not sensitive enough.
The only option I am left with is to go to high range, however at low sensitivity I get a green, and then red LED.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what sensitivity I should aim for?

I did try to crank it up until I got orange, and then dialed it down until a knock became a red, but again I was right at the bottom of the sensitivity range.

Any suggestions?

You can not set up a shock sensor by hitting the window/door with your fist ?
You need to use a hard object ?
Use the handle of a screwdriver, start with a lite tap on the frame not next too the sensor ?
These devices react to a sharp vibration, not a thud with your fist.

Even my wife laughed when I read that to her

Tbh shock sensors are a pain in arse, cant stand the things.... and thats any brand.

Well tapping with a screw driver, knuckles or fist makes no difference! They all report the same damn thing

It's a wireless shock sensor so no wiring.
It's a 3 pane window, the device is screwed through the screw holes into the window frame above the middle window

For reference its a Texecom, the GBC-0001 I think it is
