Texecom V2 app upgrade from V1 difficulty.

I’ve been maintaining a Texecom Elite since the local alarm installer went under. I’m currently using a V1.0.12.07 app which is old and I've just had a notification to upgrade.
Even though i have the engineer code i’m unable to upgrade as i don't know the email address and password.
Is there any way of upgrading without losing functionality using the current app.

What version is your smart com?
What version is your panel?

In the app menu then systems details.

Smart com needs to be version 2 minimum
Panel version 5 required to flash panel up.
Recently did a remote flash on a smart com version 2 to version 4.x
 
If the smart is still version 1, then the smart com need replacing as you can no longer upgrade it.

If it’s on version 2 it can be upgraded.
The panel version could also be a limiting factor but these can be manual flashed up if below version 5.

However depending what’s version the panel is and if you have wireless system will depend on what is recommended to avoid potential issues.

Just to note. I do have my own texecom cloud account although didn’t see the need to use it. Thinking ahead would i be able to bind the texecom connect to my own cloud account?
 
Not sure if you can add multiple panels in an end user account as I have a company account and things are forever changing.

However, the smart com and the panel can both be upgraded via the cloud account and you can assign people to the V2 app under app management if you can add the site.

Ugrade Smart com first and once complete the panel.

Thank you for your kind response.

I have successfully connected my cloud account to the panel. I will run full disgnostics to make sure everything is working ok. Then I'll flash the smartcom and flash the panel.
Are there any pointers you can give thereafter?
 
All sorted with all the firmware upgrades done successfully and the new app connected and logged in.
Disappointed with the diagnostics in the cloud account though. I guess wintex would give me more comprehensive diagnostics such as battery strength etc.
