The Atheist Delusion movie

The most beautiful and most profound experience is the sensation of the mystical. It is the sower of all true science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead. To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their primitive forms - this knowledge, this feeling is at the center of true religiousness.

Albert Einstein.

Einstein was open minded and could look beyond the materialistic world. He knew that matter can't just create itself from nothing.
And above all he was "humble".

It works both ways.

Where did it come from, then?

And above all he was "humble".
Just like Roger.

Just proves that it's all down to perspective. Scientists haven't proved that we're causing climate change, only that it is happening, and the Church hasn't proved that God exists (which I actually believe he does) only that the universe as we know it exists.

Richard Dawkins said the you can't get something from nothing, so it's interesting as to how the universe came about, and the church laughed at his supposed non argument (very unchristian) and weren't intelligent enough to see what he was trying to say - bigoted.

Has anyone seen the film with Ohmid Jalilli where he's a Muslim who one day finds he was born a Jew, and so has to try and rethink his life. It nicely shows that whatever faith you're brought up in, is the one that you believe in - unfortunately often without questioning things.

Where did it come from, then

Einstein was a scientist who believed in the possibility of a creator; whereas most scientists only believe what they can prove, so tend to be Atheists

Maybe - but that was my point.

Either way - where did the matter come from?

BnB will tell you God created it, I'll honestly say I have no idea whatsoever.

No one knows. Anything you hear is either blind faith or suppositions and hypotheses. We know what happened about a billionth of a second after the big bang but anything before that is an educated guess.

Matter cannot create itself within the universe as it exists now. But at the point of the big bang (and "before"), the laws of physics did not yet exist, so statements like "matter cannot create itself" no longer apply.

20 minutes in and all we have is some prat asking questions to people not knowing the answer himself. Some of the questions being very leading (19:20 being a perfect example).

Talking to Dr Krauss it is clear that the interviewer is too dumb to understand the points being given.

The approach of this video appears to be: Ask very difficult scientific questions to ordinary people in the street and they won't be able to come up with a cogent answer. Therefore God.
