Does it exist? Or is it that quirky human trait that actually makes people interpret what they see as what they want to see?

In Australia they see the Tasmanian Tiger (thylacine).

In Brazil they see some kind of odd monkey.

In Tibet they see the Yeti.

In Scotland they see Nessie.

Even in the UK the 'beasty' has been around for a long, long time.

It was once a black dog called by various names in different areas. Sometimes known as Padfoot, Skriker, Black Shuck etc.

I personally don't think any of them have ever existed - do you?

And while we are on the topic of 'oddness', how many of you have ever heard of 'Spring-heeled Jack'? You'll find him on Google.

Well when I was on Holiday in Auss a few years back I found a Thylacine and wanted it as a pet, but the Yeti phoned me and asked to swap for the Beast of Bodmin..so done deal. After about 6 months though Beastie met Spring heeled Jack who introduced to the Odd Monkey of Brasil, they fell in love and went on holiday in scotland, one morning they were eaten by Nessie as they sat on the bank of the loch.

To consol me we have a pet dog now, guess what his name is
