Does it exist? Or is it that quirky human trait that actually makes people interpret what they see as what they want to see?
In Australia they see the Tasmanian Tiger (thylacine).
In Brazil they see some kind of odd monkey.
In Tibet they see the Yeti.
In Scotland they see Nessie.
Even in the UK the 'beasty' has been around for a long, long time.
It was once a black dog called by various names in different areas. Sometimes known as Padfoot, Skriker, Black Shuck etc.
I personally don't think any of them have ever existed - do you?
And while we are on the topic of 'oddness', how many of you have ever heard of 'Spring-heeled Jack'? You'll find him on Google.
