The best James Bond ever.

It still has to be Sean Connery, i watched Goldfinger the other night it is still a great film. Some people think Roger Moore was the best but his films have dated even though they were made after connerys.
I saw one of roger moores films a while back , he was wearing a powder blue safari suit but worst of all his trousers were flared. 'licenced to kill' thats a joke his opponents must have died laughing. Connery still looks like he would kill you, Roger moore and the rest look like they would half kill you .

Reckon goldfinger got the best two lines ever;
With a steel cutting laser getting a bit close to bonds dangly bits.
Bond - "Do you expact me to talk"
Goldfinger - "No Mr Bond, I expect you to die"

i like connery but i also like rog and his safari suits, you wouldnt believe the grief i get down the bar for it.

i dont think his films have dated that badly, connery's pencil thin 60's suits dont look that great either

top five bond films in no particular order IMO...

I am a Bond fan of many years. Not an expert but a fan of the films. The whole thing about the anticipation of the new film coming out and getting teased by the trailers and stuff. Once it's done though, that's pretty much it for me. I'm then waiting for the next one. I've seen them all and enjoy them all. I have great memories of my dad taking me to the cinema as a kid to see the latest Bond. RM was the man of the moment. They are still good filmes but dare I say "a bit cheesy" now. They have dated.
SC was my favourite Bond till Pierce Brosnan came along. I thought that guy was a revelation as Bond. He had the look, the clothes, the wit, the car, the luck with the ladies and a certain grittiness that had not been there before. I was gutted when he got axed and even more so when Daniel Craig got the part. I mean, a blonde Bond is just not cricket is it? He ain't even a handsome fella. He has the rugged good looks of your local ladies man that works down the garage as a panel beater for god's sake! Or so my girlfriend says. What does she know I ask?
But I have to say this. Casino Royale is the best Bond film ever made and DC is the best actor ever to portray our eponymous hero. This guy has got it all and even manages to bring bit of reality t the part. He is stupendous as Bond. He is that good. Forget the misty eyed hankering for the old original an all that nonesense. DC is the man. The only man that cold possibly fill the role as he does is me! Nuff Said.

Couldnt agree more.......I hope Daniel Craig goes on to make a good few Bond films, not sure how many he has signed up for but lets hope its a few.

Pierce Brosnan's movies started off alright with Goldfinger and just got progressively worse, culminating in the utter tripe Die Another Day.

OHMSS was actually a pretty good film, it's just that people couldn't get over the fact that it wasn't Sean in the leading role. It's got baddies with machine guns on ski's, bobsledding, Diana Rigg, Kojak, and two of the best Bond songs of all time; one from 'Satchmo' and John Barry's finest.

What more do you need, watch without prejudice!


My fave bond is still Rog though. Even if he was cheesy and slightly camp.
