Darwins dilemma

Around 56 minutes in the video the mathematical chances of amino acids forming a protien is calculated in a published molecular biology paper.

For those that feel compelled to post that they cant be bothered watching it this post is for people that might be interested not you, so dont waste your time posting anything.

So , ?? We're the result of a 10 to the 74th power fluke of nature? But,,, with anything random, that 1 in 10 to the 74th power chance, could have happened first time,,, negating the need for the rest of the combinations. Just be glad it happened. ;) ;)

It can't happen as a fluke.
It would require trillions of earths/universes.

Its like trillions of monkeys tapping on computer keyboards and suddenly one taps out all shakespears works down to the last letter.
Can never happen.
Which is why that idiot atheist dawkins even concedes a higher intelligence exists outside of the materialistic world we know. A creator.
God.
Even Einstein believed in a creator. All smart people do.

It can't happen as a fluke.

Yet it obviously did. ;) ;)

Therefore, it logically follows that the chance of there being a "creator" (substitute God if you want) are 10 to the 74th power. ;) ;) ;)

And therefore, " God" can't happen as a fluke.

Even your beloved prof dawkins (king of the atheists) doesn't believe it happened as a fluke and he's a lot smarter than you.

Every time an organism divides or reproduces, there is your chance of that random mutation. How many trillions of times does that happen every second, let alone in the almost four billion years that scientists believe life has existed on earth?
BTW, life probably had 3.3 billion years, before the Cambrian explosion.
What about a comet or artificial device, seeding earth with new, more advanced life? After all, Moby once warbled that "We are all made of stars"......…

Interesting comment, first saying it can't happen but then say what it would require to happen.

You could accept the theory if the numbers worked for you .ie there were a massive amount of similar planets with sufficient time.

Yes I had thought the cambrian explosion was when there was a vast increase in the diversity of life on earth rather than the start of it.

It can't happen as a fluke.

What a ludicrous statement.

Would you say that nobody can ever win the lottery because the chances for any particular person with any particular ticket are so low?
