The good old Vauxhall Cavalier

The best car I ever owned. the Mk2 & Mk3.
They can be picked up for peanuts.

Any Cavalier fans out there ?

never owned a vauxhall. i would have a MK1 cav but the MK2 and 3 look pretty bad.

i used to drive MK3's a lot and found them to be hateful machines.

depends on what you mean by a good car. You can drive them for 3 - 5 years without servicing them I know that for a fact. A satisfying drive. No. Then again on the 99% of crappy journeys I do it wouldn't make a difference if I were driving a DB9 or a Cavalier.



Hmm, apart from the fact that the cavalier probably has a statisically higher chance of getting me to my destination

Try to get a german one, much better than the uk version.
