What does the word "larry" mean in a UK context? as in" watching the people get larry"

Sure is a first name, but how is this word used otherwise?

you mean lairy?

it means out of control, boistrous, loud, brash, agressive, confrontational... the way groups of lads get on a night out on the drink...

Larry means extremely happy, as in as happy as Larry...origin unknown ..Concise Oxford Dictionary

from the words used I thought he meant it as in the song..

"watching the people get lairy, it's not very pretty I tell thee."
