Thinking about treating myself and wife at christmas to a north face jacket for the winter has anybody got one and worth the money ? fancy one of those down filled jackets but the're up to £200

Its the "wet weather gear" you used to get a yearly allowance around £100+ but eventually they deemed it cheaper to buy the jackets for you instead, some didnt use the allowance for clothes and submitted bills that were traced against other items, Argos bills for instance with their item number on it, simple for management to look through the catalogue and see what was bought.
