The Queen's birthday honours..

Don't get me wrong, i love this country, and happy with a Monarchy.... and the Queen does a bl00dy good job.

However..... the honours list is just a farce.... a procession of OK magazine's favourite 50 people!

XYZXYZ got an OBE/CBE/Knighthood for services to...... (what they do for a fookin job!!!) FFS !!!

Branagh for 30 years in his job... i'm 30 years in mine next year, plus i've done loads of charity stuff, will i get an honour next year? No, Won't even get an Olympic torch.... Tsch !!!

Ima, i could not agree with you more, take truck drivers, they keep this country going, make no mistake, if they went on strike for two days there would be bare shelves in all the supermarkets and no fuel to be had for love nor money, within a week this country would be at a standstill, however they keep the cogs turning, do they get a mention??
 
Anyone accepting an award from the establishment is also accepting they are subservient to that establishment, and that some are deemed better than others for no real reason...

And in many cases the honours system is just another form of corruption...
