the white container in the back of my small fridge

Hi,
This is in the back bottom of my small fridge.
Can you tell me if the white container is for the water?
It is empty right now, is this OK?
It got some black rubbish in the bottom, should I clean it?

Can it be removed ? Looks like the container for the water when the fridge defrosts if so you would empty it when needed.

Condensation tray, make sure the hole from inside the fridge to this is not blocked.Condensation in the fridge runs into this tray, the heat at the bottom of the tray evaporates the water into the air keeping it near empty.No need to touch it.

I do find a plastic pipe comes from the upper, is that connects with the hole? How can I check if the pipe is not be blocked?

I have tried to remove the black rubbish from the bottom of the container and found the rubbish is wet! I then assume the pipe is not be blocked.
