Thermo Regina range solid fuel cooker/boiler

Hi has anyone fitted one of these, my mate has an old cottage with a very aged rayburn which ive just drained for him as its leaking, hes seen one of these range thingys but looking on net it is quite complicated needs pump div valve safety devices by the score, he just needs a solid fuel cooker/boiler that will heay a cyl + a couple of rads on gravity any ideas!

If you look at alternatives, you'll probably find they all specify similar safeguards. It's called 'Regs'.
A pump will make it more efficient, and control temperartures better. Diverter valves make provision for overheating so that you don't have a bomb in your kitchen.
