Probably going to anwer my own question. Before I strip down and clean with a defurrer chemical ( I live in a very hard water area) I was wondering if my dribbling shower, after being turned off, is down to this or some sort of thermostatic valve prob. Its been fine up until now and its about 8 years old and I have a Megaflo system for the past 18 months.

Just been told by an online shower spre comapny that the valve in aGainsborough Ambassador is a sealed unit. I still reckon that if I take it out, open the valve and run defurrer through it it may cure the problem. Good idea or should I just stump up £80 for a replacement

descaler £3.00 to £10.00

New valve £80.00

I know what I would try first. :D
