Thermostat and tubular heater

Good morning everyone, would anyone be able to tell me if it's possible to use a Horstmann Centaurstat 1 thermostat with a 120W tubular heater? I'm trying to control the temperature in an avery and can't get it to work. The terminals are marked 1(L),2,3 and 4(N). Using heat resistant flex, so have 2blues and 2browns to connect up. The thermostat is rated at 8A. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Ben

Breezer, yes I know I posted in the electric forum, but b-a-s suggested I also post in the heating forum as they may have more experience of thermostats. I've also spoke to a plumber friend this morning about it and he isn't sure the thermostat is suitable, but he told me to ask around some more. No offense meant by posting twice mate.
