Hello peeps.

I have a Saunier Duval themaclassic F30e combi boiler fitted in my garage, this has a electronic timer control panel fitted to it but I have no control panel or thermostat in my house, so if its a cold day I have to go out the front door, and into the garage to switch the boiler on.

My question is would a Honeywell DT92e do the trick for me allowing me to monitor the house temp and boost the system when i'm at home (outwith normal expected hours)?

without digging through honeywells site to find out what a DT92e is

any single channel programer with t/stat inside your house will do the job

i would put in a programmable room stat, salus rt500rf or honeywell cm927, will do exactly what you are looking for

How much are those other units? Kinda want to keep the cost down..... every penny counts.

have a look at screwfix,toolstation

salus about £60 inc vat

cmt 927 about £85 plus vat

piece of peepee to wire in

a pro about 1 hr start to finish

diyer 3hrs tops

Get a Drayton Digi-stat 3 programmable room stat.

You can pick them up on ebay for £30.00.

Are any of those devices available in wireless? Much prefer that option to drilling holes in walls.... its thick wall to get through.

rhe two i told you are wireless

the rf is a giveaway (radio frquency!!!)

oops... never scrolled up to your previous post there.

Good news that... cheers chaps for your help. Off shopping I go!

Just ordered a salus rt500rf online, £35... bit of a bargain that... cheers people!

It was an ebay shop to be honest, just did a google search and followed the cheapest retailer. :)

Now what I need is for someone to tell me which connections I wire up for volt free wiring on the Salus to a Saunier Duval Thermaclassic F30e. I've no idea which wires and how many I use. The little instruction book with the Salus is little help and the Saunier Duval instructions don't make any sense either.

Help?

Ignore my last post, bit of a "special" moment going on.... All sorted now wired up and working away.... not I just have to work out the program guide. Spotted a post on here about that so off I go reading.
