Thermostat seems to be having no effect?

Hi all

Wonder if someone could point me in the right direction. Gravity fed CH seems to be coming on fine but ignoring any temp set via thermostat, so when its on it nev turns off. I've tried to replace thermostat and the programmer, but no effect. The boiler is an ideal w2000 and the pump is an old looking myson compact CP53.

Any ideas?

Gravity fed? are you sure you know what that means in relation to a CH system? Have to ask the question as most Diyers get it wrong.
