Hi,
we are fitting new radiators and thermostatic valves. My husband wants to use Honeywell valves, I prefer the smaller and neater looking Drayton valves.
We had problems with the original Drayton CH controls, so my husband thinks the Drayton valves may be inferior.
Can I have some opinions on the two types please ?

We're going for reliability and longevity.

Thanks

sorry love but honey well in my opinion are better, they use a larger pin an the glands are bigger in them, they dont tend to stick as much. altho i agree the drayton look better!

but practical is better than looks !

I had Drayton TRV4's in my last house and had no problems for over 12 years. I have been in my present house for four years and, so far, have had no problems with any of the Honeywell VT200's.

Drayton use the same body (the bit that connects to the pipes) for all models, it's just the head which is different.
