I'm about to begin installing new hot & cold supply pipes for a thermostatic shower above bath and I've seen mentioned in a few places that the pipes should have a waterproof covering before they are positioned into the wall recess and covered up/tiled over.
I'm unsure what sort of covering would be suitable or is used as standard...is it tape or more like pipe insulation? Or neither? Also, would it be something I could find down at B&Q?
Many thanks.
