Hi,
Looking for some help please with a relatively new thermostatic shower valve.
Over the last few weeks we've needed to turn the valve further and further round to maintain the same temperature. Up until recently it was always comfortable on the 38 degree setting. We now need to turn the dial to what it says is about 43 degrees to get the same heat. However 43 is not the real temperature.
The valve and bathroom were professionally installed 8 months ago. It's a downstairs bathroom, and we have a gravity fed CH system, and the shower is fed by a 2 bar salamander pump. No problems with hot water in the kitchen or elsewhere.
Is it just a case of needing to de-scale or replace the cartridge in the valve?
Thanks
