This might be a long shot before I have to take it to a garage
So this week my new to me 2011 Citroen Nemo 1.3hdi started smoking thick white / grey but only after the van got to temperature
Fast forward 2 days the smoke has stopped but the engine light has come on and the stop start has stopped working
The van has done 33k
Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks for reading

If the engine management lamp is on, then a fault code will be stored which can be read with a scan. It will give you some idea of where to start.
Smoke wise......usually a turbo fault but do check the oil level straight away.
I didn’t know this one had a stop/ start function.....it’s usually a voltage problem if it packs in.
How does the vehicle drive? This engine is a very crisp performer.

The van drives really well
The oil and coolant are perfect and have not gone down
Im going to get the codes read Monday
The turbo was ment to have been replaced before I got it

White or grey smoke could be unburnt fuel but the van would be running horribly to produce that!
I’m a little confused......only 33k miles is crazily low - and it’s had a replacement turbo?

Are you sure it's not just condensation?

33k miles and faults like this?

Possible but unlikely.

Im sure it’s not just condensation
It’s was previously a van on caravan park so has done next to no work

Search online on how to read fault codes without a scanner for your car.

Does the light flash?

As you say the start and stop has stopped working when the engine light appeared I doubt the CEL will be related to the white smoke fault.

Pull the dipstick and oil cap and see what color it is.

Do you get any engine backfire?

I’ve pulled oil dipstick and it looks brand new oil
No back fire
Does feel abit sluggish
