make sure you have the installation disks for the card first then,

Hold down the windows logo key the one next to the alt key and press the Pause break key,

select hardware tab, device manager, press + sign next to sound, video and game controllers to open up the device list,

look for your device has it got a red X beside it? If so right click , properties and select the device in window if not highlighted and press the remove button,

after it uninstalls, use installation disk to reinstall

the device isnt there or so it says tried loading drivers with device and windows replaces them

Have you checked that the device is compatible with Vista 64?

had you removed the old drivers first, the ones you said were wrong?

tv tuners are always problematic for some reason. Have a browse through device manager for anything with a yellow exclamation mark. Or anything else that you don't recognise. It could be showing up as something else entirely, which if deleted will allow it to install correctly.

Do kworld have any tech support? Have you installed any other software/hardware prior to it going tits up?

i tried another pci slot tonight its working at the moment but im still holding my breath . it does say in the instructions make sure a mce certified dvd player software is installed on your pc whats that ?. i installed the mce encoder installer first as im using it with the windows media centre at the moment.
