Evening all.

Just wanted to quickly check something

I'm just going to buy a couple of taps to replace the ones missing from my set, but I want to make sure I get the correct thread pitch.

Can someone tell we what the thread pitch of a standard M10 bolt is, and also the thread pitch on M20 steel conduit. (pretty sure this is 1.5mm)

One last think, which I think I know, but want to make sure, standard bolts are RIGHT hand thread arn't they?

Metric coarse threads are the most common so your M10 is likely to have a pitch of 1.5mm.

Conduit is as you say 1.5mm

And they will both be right hand

Metric coarse threads = 10mm is 1.5mm pitch
If your 20mm conduit has a pitch of 1.5mm then it will be metric fine, as a metric coarse 20mm thread has a pitch of 2.50mm.
